DEDICATED TO
CH. TAMOORA'S AMIR

Amir saved my life and risked his own against 3 (three) coy-dogs. A coy-dog is a coyote-dog mix.  3 adult coy-dogs came up over our fence looking for an "Alpaca dinner" and I was in the pasture cleaning up poop piles.  They had to pass me in order to get to the Alpaca.  The coy-dogs decided to come after me instead. I was defenseless.  Amir came to my rescue very fast for such a large dog.  He body slammed one coy-dog and broke its back immediately, eliminating the closest most immediate threat to me. He then fought off the other 2 coy-dogs.  All 3 coy-dogs died in the end. Amir was hurt very badly and was rushed to the vet for medical treatment.  Loosing half of his lip, part of his ear, several teeth had to be pulled as he broke them off biting the coy-dogs so hard!! He had severe chest and leg punctures.

HE IS MY PERSONAL HERO!

Thank you Amir.

I LOVE YOU AMIR,
you will forever be remembered in our hearts!

In loving memory of  Ch. Tamoora's Amir  (Anatolian Shepherd Dog)   9/11/04 - 10/23/09.

ONLY 5 YEARS TO BE GRACED WITH AMIR'S PRESENCE, LOVE AND LOYALTY.  NOT ENOUGH TIME.  WE BROUGHT HIM INTO THIS WORLD WITH ALL HIS SIBLINGS AND BREATHED LIFE INTO HIS LUNGS AS HE WAS NOT BREATHING WHEN HE WAS BORN.  WE FOUGHT TOGETHER FOR HIS FIRST BREATHS OF AIR.  AMIR WILL ALWAYS BE MY MIRACLE BOY!

RAINBOW BRIDGE

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to rainbow bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food and water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.

The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing: they miss someone very special to them; who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. The bright eyes are intent; the eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to break away from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. YOU have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross the rainbow bridge forever.  I will see you there Amir, wait for me.
